I have one very similar but its face its more mean, maybe its a different version. Its fucking beautiful!
He’s also part of the J.L.A. Series 1 set
@jfupegui Thanks, I was wondering what set he came from. I’d really like a Killer Croc figure, but haven’t found one I thought was perfect yet. I like the secret files one, but he doesn’t have a tail. I have a few figures from the Kingdom Come series, and I think those are well made–I think they are designed by Alex Ross? I think it would be neat if they had a Kingdom Come Killer Croc figure (with a tail)!
Yeah, this is a great figure indeed. Just ordered mine. This is from the superman vs doomsday collection. Awesome!
Nice figure! This appears to be the DC Direct Re-Activated Series 1: Superman Action Figure. I think I’m going to get one soon as well. Good review.
@Soulwhodreams I would think this would be the most obvious version of Batman to make. I mean the show was campy but it has to be the overall most recognizable Batman. Who doesnt know the them song to batman?
@SteveBrant55 I didn’t see much of the older Batman tv show but that show has a style/look/theme/ unto itself that I like seeing. As a fan of Batman, its neat to see so many different versions of him—Adam West, Michael Keaton, Christian Bale and how they’ve changed over the years. And yes, there are a few I could stand to forget lol but its good to see the bat will be around for awhile.
@chachipower You know I wasn’t a huge fan of the adam west version, but—thinking of him as a HT figure—man that is a great way to represent Batman of the older era. I think I would be interested in such a figure
@chachipower Ok I will contact HT on Monday—they are closed for holidays but hopefully they will give me a new part since I only need the ball joints that fit into the hands. Thanks I appreciate your help
@chachipower Thanks, I will try that. They made a Golgo 13 figure? I’d like to see that. Is that the same character from Golgo 13 the NES game? Man that game was tough but addicting! I’d like to look up that figure
@chachipower You’re right! The Batman TV show has so many famous guest stars… and plenty of fans who still love them. Would also open the door to a 1:6 scale George Barris Batmobile!
@SteveBrant55 a Reeves figure would be call, maybe even an Adam West Batman while your at it.
@chachipower Agreed! And I think Hot Toys did so well with this, I’m gonna write them about make a figure for George Reeves as Superman. His 100th birthday is coming up in January 2014!
@Ra0h86 thanks, you will love it
@Soulwhodreams see if the seller will send you a new hand, worth a try. I got a replacement head for mine because of the defect.
@SteveBrant55 wrap a paper towel or cloth around the peg if you use pliers.
@Soulwhodreams I had that problem with my HT Golgo 13. You can run a hair-dryer over hands to soften them but obviously dont melt them. It should be much easier to pull out
@Soulwhodreams Are you sure you didn’t get them? Mine were packaged in a small plastic bag all by themselves. Gee.. too bad if you didn’t get them. I have him posed with his hand behind his back… another classic pose from the movie’s publicity stills. So, now it doesn’t matter what hands are on him. You don’t see them! Yeah… I would look for some other way of gripping them. Maybe some sort of rubberized fabric. Good luck!
@chachipower You know I just noticed that, however on mine it rubbed on one of his palms and now there is a whitish spot on his hand where the flesh toned paint was rubbed off…..arrghh…
@SteveBrant55 You know what? I was thinking like that—how great it would be if there were extra ball joint sockets. Since you mentioned that, I’m guessing you did get some extra sockets then? I did not
All I got was the four hands and the fortress set up parts. My box was unopened so I’m guessing I just got a bad box
I’m nervous about trying plyers, however I want to change out his hands so I’ll have to try something.
@Soulwhodreams I know it’s not a perfect solution, but I used one of the two extra ball/pin pieces they give you to use a different hand because I couldn’t remove it from the hand I didn’t want to use either. Maybe if you grab the hand with your fingers and the ball/pin part with a small pair of pliers you could remove it. But you’d have to be carful not to damage the pin part with the pliers. Good thing they gave us those extra parts.
@SteveBrant55 not yet, I just had some time today and got everything put together. I’m working on him now. I am having trouble changing the hands? I cannot get the ball and socket joint out of the closed fist so I can attach the open palm hands. Any ideas?
Have you tried posing him with his arms crossed? Even with some sort of double joint at the elbows, I cannot get the arms to pose crossed. Thanks for the help!
yeah the indentations are cool except for the one that rubs on his forehead and causes a shiny spot. Thats what happened to mine
Sweet figure man …. can’t wait to get mine
and nice reviwe by the way^^
