@kingkuts — yeah, but i have issues with churches collecting perpetual “building funds” and their ministers driving better cars than the parishioners and living in better houses. One of my neighbors back home was one such minister and he and his wife had matching Mercedes coupes. They funneled money to their kids who turned up dead one day after a drug deal gone bad.

The fracking fluid contains a chemical mixture of nasty stuff. The natural gas drillers are pumping diesel fuel into the ground, benzene, ethylene glycols, just to name a few. It is poisoning people all over this country, and all Robertson can talk about is how cheap it is. The man is plain ignorant.

In Final Cut Pro, Compressor / Limiter filter generally I set the ratio to 3, DB Threshold to -25 and I’m good to go. Click the preserve volume if I need to raise audio, but I usually use gain instead.
@psynema a limiter is a type of compressor… that would work too, but a limiter would make it as loud as possible, whereas a compressor would improve the overall consistency more… A limiter is basically a really strong compressor.

Hi, I’m an audio engineer and I notice there are alot of complaints about the audio. There are three obvious things that would make it better:
1. Use a compressor – when Cenk speaks loudly it distorts, a compressors will fix that
2. EQ – filter out frequencies over 17KHz and under 100Hz
3. Reverb – adding a very small amount of reverb will make everything softer.
@neons99 If your audio and image are out of sync, slide the time positioner to the left a tiny bit, it should correct itself.
Cenk frequently side comments that TYT are, “Just keepin’ it real,” and they are! Truth to power!
